Wild Horses

OK, so this might not be very exciting to anyone else but it's a pretty big deal here on the P Bar. For the past 3 years that we have lived here we have gotten to observe a herd of wild horses that live on the HUGE ranch next to us. These horses were thinned out about a year and a half ago down to only 12 members and they are now back up to 28 again. As beautiful as these horses are, they are a major pain. They often would come to our fence line and fight with our horses. Several time our horses have had to have some serious injuries doctored due to fighting through the fence. Animal control finally had enough with the horses, due to other problems and insisted they be removed. So, Mark, the neighbor and a few other wanna be cowboys rounded the horses up into our corrals and sent them off on a semi-truck today. Yahooo! Hopefully they are going to a better home. I could have gotten some really cool pictures, but I was juggling 2 little ones at the time. So, this is the best I could do.
