Visit at Grandma and Papa's

The girls and I drove down to Sonora for my Mom's 60th birthday party this past weekend. It was our first trip down in over 3 years. I loved visiting with my parents and their friends, but the trip down definitely makes me appreciate good ol' Siskiyou county even more.

My Mom was in heaven, she had her 5 granddaughters at the party. First time they have all been together.

Trip to the coast

Most people that know me, know that I am a total homebody. There aren't many places around that are worth the trip for me because I just don't think much can beat our own homestead. However, visiting the ocean is an exception. For our 12 year anniversary we headed to the beach. We stayed in Brookings, OR for the weekend. It was such a nice relaxing and much needed getaway.

We stayed in a cozy cabin with a great view of the ocean. The hot tub was a big hit. Definitely worth going back for a return visit.

I love this picture of Mark and Fuzzy.

Kinley's first time at the ocean. She wasn't too sure about the sand at first.

Hmmm...what is this stuff on my hands? I don't think I like it.

Not sure what Mark is doing, I think he is looking for buried treasure.

OK, I am not a big self portrait person, but this picture cracks me up because Kinley has her arm swung up over my shoulder; my cutie little buddy.

This is 2 of our little rockstars on the drive home from the coast. Good stuff.

Monkey baby

What more can I say?

On weekends, some people go out and party. This is what we do at the P Bar. Mark used to like to chase females back in his wild days, he still likes to, but now they are cows! Ha Ha. This is how we spent our "wild" Friday evening. Good stuff.

That's Mark, Korie and Kali on the 4 wheeler
What a cutie!

Mark and Korie make a great team

This is Kali's contribution to the work. She provides the entertainment.

Dancing is something we do often in this house. I wish I had the camera on 24/7 to capture the hilarious and precious moments of our kiddos. But...here are a few I managed to get. I am irritated with myself for once again getting them sideways. I am used to taking still shots and being able to turn the camera and obviously forget about how this doesn't work when shooting video. Sorry, but the consequence of having to go to the Chiropractor to watch this is worth it! By the way, if you are wondering if our house is always messy...the answer is YES! We have little tornadoes that live with us. You don't even want to know how many times a day I walk around picking up after them. I guess that is what I have the "golden years" for, to have a perfectly clean house.
