Life here has been eventful lately, but nothing out of the ordinary. We survived a week of constant throw up and lack of sleep. We are still recovering, but it's much better than a week ago or so. I am back to my schedule of working 2 to 3 days a week, the girls are back to their schedules and Mark, well...his schedule has never changed. Work, work, work. We have managed to squeeze in some time with good friends here and there, as well as frequent trips to our great church.

In his "spare" time, Mark has managed to work on our house a bit. I can't express to you how thrilled and exciting it is to watch this process. I can hardly stand it. Mark's crew probably think his wife is a bit nuts because she drags the kids out to the house pad and literally will just "hang" out. Sorry guys!

I have been in kind of a pathetic mood lately and although there are several things that can attribute to it, I am pretty sure it's my lack of sleep and lack of spending time in the Word. I (we) are so blessed. We are all healthy, have jobs that we love, are able to pay the bills and also manage to spend some time on occasion with our great family and friends. God really has blessed us.

Here is a picture from the garage trusses being put on today. Where is the house you ask? Well, I won't bore you with details, but Mark had to schedule truss delivery for our house with delivery of trusses for one of his jobs. So, the garage had to be first. Hopefully, the house isn't far behind it.

The girlies and I got to spend some time with the Vaughan's and Horne's this week to celebrate Lily's birthday. These kiddos are so cute together and we all had a great time (Mommy's included).

Loaded up and ready to go.
Nothing like starting them out young and teaching them how to shop.

Little bit of dancing
This rainbow followed us on our travels down the Siskiyou Summit. I know that we are always in God's hands, but nothing like a beautiful reminder.

How can I possibly get mad?

Kinley was supposed to be in her room taking a nap. The house was quiet, it was lovely. I walked by the kitchen and caught something out of the corner of my eye. I had to take a double take. Instead of napping in her room, this is what I saw. I am slowly losing my battle with nap time. Kali is practically done and Kinley is working her way there. Ugh.

Can't wait to get outside to play in that beautiful snow!
We had a great Thanksgiving, which included a visit by Papa and Grandma, Holly and Patrick. We are very blessed.

Our first snow of the season

The girls woke up this morning screaming through the house "snow, snow, snow." What a delightful way to wake up.

I really like this picture because Kali is opening up her mouth while she feeds the snowball to Kinley. And I thought that was just a Mom thing that we do when we feed our baby. Mark had to take a picture of the cows because he thought they looked so cute. Hmmmm

Now...here is something cute!

I love lazy football Sundays

Kali Marie turns 4

Our sweet Kali Marie turned 4 on the 15th. We had an entire weekend of birthday celebrations with good friends and family. I can't believe how big she is getting and how quickly time is flying by.

With good buddies Lucy and Lily.

Jodi was reminiscing through some old pics she has taken and I was lucky enough to be the recipient of some of them. Here is one of the many great photos she took of Korie and Kali back in the day. So cute! Thanks Yo Mama D.

Yesterday I had a parent teacher conference with Korie's teacher. The teacher had all great things to say and Korie had great grades. Yesterday Korie also got her braces off. She's very happy. She is growing up so quickly. Sometimes I treat her like she is 16 because she is so mature and responsible. I have to remind myself that she is still my little girl. Before we know it, she WILL be 16. What a blessing she is.

Just a few pics from Halloween. It was an early night for all of us due to little baby lou Kinley being pretty sick.

Don't you love it when you get your picture taken and you have on no makeup and feel like you just rolled out of bed? I know...most of you that know me well are thinking "so what's different Kim?" Ha Ha!

I was gone at a training on Friday, so Mark got the girls ready for school in their costumes and then took a picture of these two in front of their preschool. He's such a good Daddy.

Adult playdate...yahooo

We got to spend some time in Eugene this weekend. The girls got to hang out with Holly while Mark and I got to go to an OSU Beavers football game. Ironic that we went to a Beavers game since OSU was the college that I really really wanted to attend when I was trying to decide what university to transfer to. Maybe we can be OSU parents?

We had a great time. Thanks for the invite Betts and Crisci family!

This picture was taken in front of our seats...we were THAT close to the field.
All 6 of us, including The Darkside (Mark's new nickname).

Great weekend

This past weekend Mark and I celebrated our anniversary, 13 years as of the 20th. How lucky am I? I am fortunate to have such a great man to call my husband and father to our precious girls. To celebrate, we got to have an entire Saturday just to ourselves. We spent it working around the property, going to lunch and then again out for dinner. Doesn't sound very exciting but it honestly was the perfect day for me. Just me and Mark and an entire day just for us. Thank you Michele for taking our little ones. It also happened to be the weekend of the Montague Balloon Fair. What a beautiful event that pictures don't do justice to. It was fun to get up each morning to see the balloons floating through the sky. We really are fortunate to live in such a magnificent place.

This was the view from our road.

This was the view from our driveway.
THIS was our view while we irrigated.

On Sunday we were invited to the R Ranch to hang out with some of our church family. I love these people.
Lucy and Kali thought it was fun feeding Kinley.
I am pretty sure Kinley enjoyed it too.

Some of the kids on an "exploration."

Puppy Love

Maggie, Maggie, Maggie. At one point, we had decided that we were not going to keep Maggie. We found her several potential homes. As we waited for these potential homes to make their decision, we got more and more attached. So....she is staying. Mark didn't really want to keep her, but the more time he spends with her, the more he loves her. How could he NOT love this adorable little creature?

I guess dogs learn early who to pour the charm on to.
This picture speaks volumes. Mamma sitting there trying to stay awake but just can't keep her eyes open. Baby girl next to her, actively playing with her toy and going to town on destroying something. Oh, how I can relate at times!

I love these girls

You know you are a redneck (and desperate) if you are taking a dip in the livestock feeder, the SMALL livestock feeder that is barely larger than a sink.
